The Chatteris boys put in another good performance to record their second successive 5-0 win.
As early as the 2nd minute an inswinging corner from the right was headed on by Henry Shepherd to Ryan O'Hea but his header looped over the bar. It was not long before Ryan made amends for the miss, 2 minutes later he latched on to a good through ball from Jack Rudkin and finshed well. Despite constant pressure on the Haddenham it took another 15 mintues to add to the score. Henry Shepherd found Levi Beaney with a neat pass and Levi put the ball past the advancing keeper from the edge of the area. It did not take long for the home side to get a third when a good cross by Ben Tuffee was met by Ben Perry who volleyed the ball into the corner of the net with the outside of his right foot!! Henry Shepherd made it 4-0 just before the break when the ball was laid back to him by Damon Beckett and he lobbed the keeper from about 20 yards. With a 4-0 advantage Chatteris took their foot off the gas in the second half but they did add a fifth when Damon Beckett struck a good left foot shot into the roof of the net.
Another great result and performance from the boys which will give them confidence going into next weeks game against Newmarket who were relegated from the A League last season. |
