A decision was made to make the site a lot more flexible with the Chairman, secretary, team managers fundrasiers etc able to add and maintain their own pages and add news items photographs etc whenever they see fit.
I was hoping to hand the control over to somebody else to administer the site but nobody else stepped forward. So I will continue but hopefully with less of a work load. The new site will not look as good as the old one because of imposed restrictions but the ability to call up information stats and post, edit your own stuff etc will be alot better.
There is no need for anything more technical than being able to click and use a mouse to update the site. We will organise a evening in the near future at Mark's office to run a quick introductory course on his computers for anybody who wants to run and update their own teams stats info news etc . Please do not be frightend off if computers are Alien to you. It is simple to do.
We will have to introduce a few basic ground rules about keeping text size, colour, photograph sizes uniform through out the site. but apart from that training sessions times, KO times, photograhs, league tables, MOM, goal scorers match reports anything to do with your team can be added to the site. |
